Radio School of the Year

For the third time in five years, the Source 95 claims the title of the Indiana Association of Student Broadcasters' Radio School of the Year. Congratulations to our award finishers and everyone else who submitted entries! For a list of WVUR winners, check out the WVUR awards page.

That's All, Folks!

Unfortunately, the time has come to wrap up this fantastic year at WVUR. Before the 2009-10 year is completely in the books, we must thank you all for everything that you do for the radio station.

Whether you were a newcomer or returner, regardless of the department, you put a lot of work into your jobs and contributed the quality sound of our station. Between 100+ sports broadcasts, scores of weeknight editions of the Evening Source, dozens of music reviews, and countless hours of DJ shows, everyone did a fantastic job this year and you deserve some applause.

Congratulations are also in order, mostly for our numerous award winners and seniors. Between staff awards and IASB, we brought home a good deal of hardware, which is completely deserved for all the solid work you all did this year. For seniors, we thank you for your time at the station and your leadership and help with others. Especially for our seven departing managers, thank you for everything you have done to constantly improve the Source 95.

For everyone coming back, we look forward to seeing you again in late August/early September. Sign up for shows! Join staffs! Invite your friends along! We'd certainly love more people who show your dedication next year. Until then, take care and have fun this summer!
